What is Voice Designer?

Voice Designer is Meetzy’s AI-powered tool for creating custom voices. Instead of choosing from the existing catalog, you can describe the exact voice characteristics you want, and the system generates multiple options for you to choose from.
Voice Designer uses advanced AI to create unique voices based on your text description.

Creating a Custom Voice

Step 1: Open Voice Designer

Go to Voice Library

Navigate to the Voices section.

Click Add New Voice

Click the ”➕ Add New Voice” button.

Voice Designer Opens

The Voice Designer modal appears.

Step 2: Describe Your Voice

Write a detailed description of the voice you want: Good Description Example: 
A warm, friendly female voice with a slight British accent, 
suitable for customer service. Should sound professional 
but approachable, with a calm and reassuring tone.
Required Length: 20-1000 characters
Be specific about gender, accent, tone, and purpose for the best results.

Select Favorite

Click the radio button for your preferred voice.

Waveform Visualization

When you select a voice, you’ll see an audio waveform that animates during playback, helping you visualize the voice characteristics.

Saving Your Voice

Once you’ve selected a voice:

Click Continue

Click “Continue” after selecting your voice.

Enter Voice Name

Give your voice a descriptive name.

Add Description

Write a brief description (optional but recommended).

Select Gender

Choose Male, Female, or Neutral.

Select Language

Choose the primary language.

Add Labels

Enter comma-separated labels for categorization.

Save

Click “Save Voice” to add to your library.

Finding Custom Voices

Custom voices appear in the Voice Library alongside pre-built voices. Use the search or filter by your labels to find them quickly.

Using Custom Voices

  1. Note the voice name or ID
  2. Open your agent in Advanced Editor
  3. Go to Basic Settings
  4. Select your custom voice from the dropdown
  5. Save

Best Practices

The more detailed your description, the better the AI can match your requirements. Include specific adjectives and characteristics.
Provide sample text that represents actual phrases your agent will speak. This helps you evaluate voice quality in context.
Always listen to all generated options before selecting. Small differences can be significant in production.
After saving, test the voice in the Playground with various conversation scenarios.
Good labels make it easier to find and manage voices across multiple agents and use cases.
